2 years later

I should probably post more than once every two years. The farm is even more wonderful than it was before! If you have not been out to visit us in the last several years, you will be in for a treat. Beautiful Weather

I can't believe it has been almost 2 years since I have posted. We are still loving the farm and want you to come enjoy it. We are open to the public Monday, September 24th from 10-12. Come enjoy it all.

Snow covered first day of Spring

I will soon post a picture of a frozen egg from the hen house. I never even knew that could happen. Visits to the farm will resume on March 20th. Zoo Crew presentations at offsite locations are available year round- but right now, we have the barn opened up for the animals to stay warm and closed to parties:)

The farm will be open for appointments through December 19th.

For the winter we can bring our educational Zoo Crew program to your location. This program has been said to be better than Zooniversity and Critterman at a much more affordable price. We are able to design our program to teach all ages.

scouts, PTA/PTO, daycares, preschools, private schools, grade level presentations.

We love working with children and adults with special needs.

Winter Open Barn

Visit us at the farm on December 6 from 1-3.
Reservations are required. The fee is $5.00 per person over 18 months old (adults do need to pay)

The farm is normally only open for groups and birthday parties. This is your chance to visit with your family.

This is the kind of weather that the animals love!!!

We are looking forward to a great fall season at the farm. Weekday visits for playgroups, mom's clubs and homeschool groups in Mckinney, Allen, Frisco are a great idea.
If you would like, we can also bring our small caged animals to your school, preschool, scout troop, PTO/PTA, church and other offsite location.

Birthday dates at the farm are going quickly. As of this post, we have one slot from 10-12 on October 25 open. All of November is booked. The two days available in December are the 13th and 20th.

Grisham Farms Birthday Party Dates and Field Trip Times Are Limited

The farm is thriving and activity is everywhere. We would love to see you here. Visits are still by appointment only. If you are interested in attending an Open Barn Day, when you can bring your family, email us so that we can let you know when the next one will be scheduled.

We have been a little busy....

I have not posted in soooo long.
The farm and petting zoo business is going wonderfully! I can not beleive that I have not posted in such a long time.
Our newsest addition in the last post are now much bigger. Our most recent addition to our petting zoo here in McKinney is our cow. He is a big hit.
The farm will be closed until March due to winter weather conditions.
Our small animal petting zoo will be available throughout the winter to come to your location for indoor parties and events.

Sping is in the air

There are new leaves on the trees, and baby chicks and ducks in the barn. This is a great time for a group outing to the farm. As soon as I figure out how to post a picture to new blogger, I will.

Zoo Crew: Small Animal Petting Zoo

The Zoo Crew of Grisham Farms Petting Zoo is gearing up for a busy new year.
We are looking forward to several visits to preschools and private schools this month.
We are even doing a birthday party at a school. What an awesome idea this mother had. She got permission from the school to have me do a 45 minute presentation in her son's class as a birthday gift to him.
Thanks to this wonderful mother, to our list of services we can now add classroom presentations as a gift from parents. What a great gift for a teacher and her students.
